Behemoth is a unique optional boss from the Encounter mission from the Stellar Blade game. The guide explains where the Behemoth's lair is in the Great Desert region, as well as how to defeat the huge beast.

Defeating Behemoth is mandatory to complete Encounter, a side quest taking place in the Great Desert region of Stellar Blade. Our guide shows the way to the boss's lair, what attacks the Behemoth has in his repertoire, and how to defeat the large creature.

Unlocking the optional fight with Behemoth

1. To have this battle, you need to start Encounter side mission - this is the second task received from Kaya in Sisters' Junk shop in Xion.
2. The quest requires us to find Kara and the search for her will lead us to the north-western part of Great Desert. We mark the area you need to reach in screenshot 1 - this is also the arena for the encounter. The boss Behemoth will appear in this place.

Breakdown of the encounter

1. Behemoth is a larger variant of creatures that you might have encountered during free exploration of the Great Desert region.
2. The boss mainly employs single swings with breaks between them. Try to Perfect Parry them, as failing to stop the attack may result in receiving huge damage. The red attacks involve a combination of 4 quick strikes.
3. Make use of every possible special attack you have at this stage of the campaign - Beta attacks, Burst abilities, or Tachy Mode.

1. The most often used yellow attack of the boss is sending a shockwave.Be ready to respond to it with a Perfect Dodge. Simple running away from the boss may not cut it, as the shockwave covers a lot of terrain before dispersing

1. Other yellow attacks of note are a far jump or sending whirling projectiles - there will be a few of them incoming in a row and is best to avoid them by dodging to a side.

1. During the fight, there may be wrestling scenes ensuing where Behemoth tries to bite EVE. Keep pressing Square rapidly to win the QTE and avoid damage.
2. There is no QTE at the end of this fight. Behemoth, after losing all health points, simply dies.
