Sid Meier's Civilization VII

Sid Meier's Civilization VII is the next installment of the popular turn-based strategy series, tasking us with creating and leading a civilization through millenia. It was, once again, developed by Firaxis Games.

Mechanics

The mechanics of Sid Meier's Civilization VII don't differ much from previous games in the series. The game is a classic turn-based 4X strategy. The player takes control over a historical civilization and guides it through thousands of years of development. Accordingly, we must regularly expand our cities, creating new districts and buildings. We must also take care of our finances and provide citizens with food.

The game offers a great deal of freedom and lets us decide how exactly to dominate the world stage. We can create a military power conquering other nations or a peaceful society with highly developed culture and science.

Civilization VII also emphasizes diplomacy. Throughout the adventure we build relationships with each other nation on the world map. Their leaders' behavior should be carefully observed. Each leader differs in the terms of personality, influencing their decisions and choices.
