Kiera is an adventurer you will meet while completing the Heavenslayer main quest. However, before you can get her as a companion, you must find a way to open the vault at the Bank of England. On this page of the guide, we will tell you how to do it.
How to open the vault at the Bank of England?
Thoroughly examining the Bank of England building and getting rid of the bandits residing there is one of the key elements of the Heavenslayer quest, which in turn is part of the main story of Fallout London. When you come across the mentioned quest, follow the instructions provided in the quest log. When Tommies General finally sends you to the building in question, get ready for a long sequence in a closed location filled with enemies.
To move around the Bank of England efficiently, you will need to find specific keys and access cards that will open subsequent sections of the building. The vault itself, in which Kiera is trapped, is locked with a special item called the Bank Vault Key Card. How to get Kiera as a companion?
Once you manage to collect all the keys and get rid of the bandits in the bank, head to the large gate leading to the bank's main vault. The vault itself is located behind the cash registers, in the room to the right of the bank's main corridor (you will need the Bank Manager Key to open the room).
Approach the intercom on the right side of the gate. The woman on the other side will introduce herself as Kiera, the treasure hunter. She will tell you that she is stuck in the vault and hasn't been able to get out for a long time. When she asks you for help, agree to her request. If you already have the Bank Vault Key Card, the gate will open automatically.
Enter the vault filled with gold bars. Kiera will be waiting for you at the end of the room, accompanied by several ghouls (former bank employees). Talk to the woman.
During the conversation, the woman will thank you for your help, tell you some facts about herself, and share some interesting facts about the Bank of England.
At some point, Kiera will suggest that you should join forces. You can agree to her offer, and the treasure hunter will then join you as a companion. If at any point during the game you change your mind and want to leave Kiera, she will return to the Camden Market. You can recruit here in that location again.
Remember that in Fallout London you can only have one companion at a time. If you decide to accept Kiera, the previous companion will return to their specific location, from where you will be able to recruit them again in the future (for example, Archie will return to the Sanctuary).
