Tempest is a powerful tank in Sword of Convallaria. With his Stormrage trait he can boost his defense and attack for a couple of turns. Like Gloria, or Teadon, he belongs to The Union. As a Breaker he can easily pass through any Defender, such as Nergal, Maitha, or Magnus. Let’s explore the best skill set for this Epic hero. For more builds and strategies, check out our Skill Tree of the Best Characters.

Best Skills for Tempest in Sword of Convallaria

Looking for builds for your favorite Legendary heroes? We've got you covered with in-depth guides on Col, Edda, Dantalion, Rawiyah, Faycal, Inanna, Beryl, Nungal, Momo, Alexei, Samantha, Iggy, Garcia. Check out our tier list to see how they stack up against the competition. And remember, even without those top-tier characters, Epic units like Angel, Abyss, and Crimson Falcon can still be powerful additions to your party.

Tempest's ability to absorb damage while dishing out punishment makes him a crucial asset to any team. As a frontline tank, he excels at protecting allies and disrupting enemy formations. Here are the best skills to equip him with as you level up his Rank:

  1. RK1 – Internal Chop, a passive skill that deals Physical DMG to all enemies within 1-tile radius of the character after initiating an Active Attack.
  2. RK3 – Stormrage Strike is a powerful skill that targets distant foes or objects. Tempest charges at a single enemy within a cross-shaped area, inflicting substantial damage. When Windfurry buff is active, the target is knocked back two tiles.
  3. RK5 – Storm Trample is a reaction triggered when Tempest is about to be hit from the front or side by a melee attack. It deals damage to all nearby enemies within one tile. If Tempest has the White Armor buff, he also inflicts a debuff on all enemies for one turn. This counterattack can only be used once per round.
  4. RK7 – Will to Survive. This passive skill can be crucial in challenging battles. If Tempest is Dying at the start of his turn, he will recover half his health and two energy points. This ability has a 2-turn cooldown.
  5. RK9 – Charged Attack delivers a powerful blow and boosts the damage output of the next skill.

Progressing through Spiral of Destinies in Sword of Convallaria rewards you with valuable resources and currency to summon new characters or level up your heroes. It's also a great way to earn Endurance for playing other game modes.
