Lazarus is the central character of the Cold Case mission in Fallout London. This page will tell you how to get clues about him and how to free him from Isle of Dogs Syndicate captivity.

Cold Case is one of the main quests in Fallout London. During it, you will be looking for Lazarus - a drug-dealing ghoul who has important information about underground laboratories. On this page, we will show you how to conduct an investigation that will lead you to the dealer, and we will also tell you how to save Lazarus in the Isle of Dogs Syndicate headquarters.

How to start the Cold Case quest?
Cold Case is part of a longer storyline that started in Thameshaven. During the conversation with Bishop Whaler in St. Paul's Sanctuary at the end of the Fidei Defensor quest, Cold Case will automatically appear in your journal (more about the Fidei Defensor quest can be found on the How to get to St. Paul's Sanctuary? page).
Ask the ghoul cleric about Lazarus. Whaler will tell you the story of his former friend and advise you to go to Father Luke, another priest stationed at the sanctuary, for more information.
Follow the quest marker and look for Luke. He usually stays in his quarters inside the cathedral. Talk to him.
The priest will express his dislike for the dealer and ask to search Lazarus's room in the cathedral.
Lazarus's room is located in one of the wings of the building. One of the drawers has a hint (the "Customers" note). Return the collected evidence to Luke.
Luke will draw your attention to the nickname Bones appearing in the client list. The priest will show you three potential people who may be behind this nickname. These are:
- Frenchman the security guard;
- Ramsgate the cook;
- Gravedigger.
Who is Bones?
If you want, you can visit all the suspects. However, the right person will turn out to be the gravedigger working outside. Go to him and ask if the nickname Bones means anything to him? The man will tell you that the drugs ordered were not for him, but for his younger assistant.
Approach Christopher who is standing nearby. When asked about drugs, he will start to deny everything. To convince him to cooperate, follow the updated quest marker to the boy's quarters. In the room, open the lock of the box on the table. Take the drugs there as evidence and return to Christopher.
With 6 or more Charisma points, you can convince Christopher to confess without collecting evidence of his addiction.
Christopher will tell you more information about Lazarus and send you to Francis. You will find him by following the quest marker. The cleric usually walks around the cathedral.
Francis will recognize the strange smell of the "goods" sold by Lazarus and will suggest you look for Lazarus's hidden stash in the church garden.
Lazarus's supply crate is located between two trees in the churchyard, around the Cheese Weed flowers. Open it and take everything that is inside.
Where is Beefeater Burger?
The letter in the hideout will direct you to Beefeater Burger. This restaurant is located east of the Sanctuary.
On the way there, you can expect fights with aggressive cultists and bandits. The 5th Column faction has its outposts in the area. However, they should not attack you unless you provoke them.
When you get there, on one of the tables you will find a cassette with a recording titled "Verbal Agreement". Select it from your inventory ("MISC" tab) to listen to it.
The recording will reveal that the ghoul kidnapped by the Isle of Dogs Syndicate is located in the gang's headquarters known as Wintergarden. It is located quite far to the west, so be prepared for a long journey.
Depending on your relationship with the Isle of Dogs Syndicate faction, patrols along the way may ignore or attack you. If you have completed a lot of tasks for the Vagabonds, Syndicate members will almost certainly attack you.
How to free Lazarus from captivity?
After reaching the Syndicate premises, enter the building marked with the quest marker. Inside you will find a small group of gangsters. The man with the mustache will ask why are you here.
If you have enough Charisma or Strength (7 and 10 points respectively), you can try to convince the gangsters to hand Lazarus over to you. Otherwise you will have to fight them. You can also try to sneak up to the cage and open it with a lockpick. However, if Syndicate members catch you doing this, you will be attacked on the spot.
Once you convince or defeat the gangsters and get inside the cage, you can finally talk to Lazarus. He will tell you about underground laboratories and indicate the location of one of them. This conversation will automatically end the Cold Case quest and start the Heavenslayer quest.
