Silent Hill: Downpour is the eighth installment of the series of survival-horror action games released by Konami. The Slovak studio Vatra Games is responsible for the development of the title. Players play the role of Murphy Pendleton, a prisoner who manages to escape from the convoy and hide in the infamous town of Silent Hill. The game combines elements of action (fight against nightmarish monsters) with logical riddles.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a third party action game produced by Raven Software, based on the popular comic book series and a film directed by Gavin Hood. The player has the opportunity to get to know the dark past of the title superhero before he became a member of the X-Men team. The advantage of the game are spectacular combat sequences using elements of the environment and Wolverine's supernatural skills.

The third core installment in a popular first person shooter series. Battlefield 3 was developed by Swedish studio DICE, an Electronic Arts subsidiary. The game is set during a modern-day conflict and the events are presented in the form of flashbacks as remembered by Henry Blackburn, an American soldier who tries to stop Islamic terrorists from detonating a nuke. The game features three playable characters, as well as various weapons and vehicles.

Sequel is a very popular first person Black shooter. The plot of the game presents further adventures of Sergeant Jacek Kellar. A member of the elite CIA Special Operations Division is once again faced with people threatening peace in the world. As in the case of the first part, the work on the title was carried out by Criterion Games studio.

Crysis 2 is a sequel to the science fiction FPS created by Crytek studio. The game is set three years after events of the first installment and takes place mostly on the streets of New York City, where we face members of an alien civilization and hostile soldiers of the C.E.L.L. corporation. In the title, we control a completely new character – a commando named Alcatraz who dons the sane suit the hero of the first part did, drawing attention of opponents.

Street Fighter IV is the fourth installment of the extremely popular fighting series. The action of the game was set between the events presented in the second and third part of the cycle. Among the 25 warriors in which the player can play, there are both well-known (Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken and others) as well as completely new heroes.

The plot of the game focuses on the fate of former mercenary Kane, who murdered his colleagues by appropriating precious diamonds, and Lynch, who killed his wife in a fit of schizophrenia. Both have been sentenced to death and meet on a prison bus that is hijacked by Kane's former colleagues.

Similarly to all the previous installments, the game is available on multiple platforms and follows the formula developed by the previous Harry Potter games – the players are given an action adventure game, in which they observe the action from the third person perspective.

The add-on created by the Blizzard Entertainment’s development team has added a fifth act to the main campaign, in which Malthael, the Angel of Death, is determined to put an end to the war between celestial beings and demons; the Black Stone binding Diablo’s soul is supposed to help him achieve this goal.

The game was produced by the British studio Codemasters Software, whose output also includes such series as TOCA Race Driver and Colin McRae DiRT. Like its predecessors, F1 2013 allows players to take on the role of a race car driver and compete against artificial intelligence or live opponents on a faithfully recreated track.

In the game we play as a beginner motorcyclist, and our goal is to climb the career ladder to the top of the world ranking.

Contrary to its rival franchise - FIFA by Electronic Arts - Pro Evolution Soccer doesn't have the license of the International Football Federation, but makes it up with licenses for the Champions League, Europe League, and Europe Supercup. The 2017 edition introduces a slew of novelties, available only on the 8th generation consoles - PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and is the fifth full-fledged installment in the series created by Michel Ancel. This time the titular protagonist and his friend Globox must face nightmares which have created amazing worlds during the 100 years they have spent in the Crossroads of Dreams. Rayman must also free the Teensies captured by the clone of the deceptive Magician.

The game is set within the premises of a small town’s asylum. We play as a detective who tries to solve mystery of a gruesome murder. The case, however, quickly changes into a desperate fight for survival and preserving his sanity.

A console version of the arcade hit originally released on mobile devices. We play the role of Ninja, a warrior whose task is to chop fruit. The game uses Kinecta and we control swords with our own hand movements. Apart from having fun solo, we can try a multiplayer tournament in the form of a fruit tournament.

The 11th major installment in an extremely popular FPS franchise, launched in 2003 by the Activision company. As the franchise moved to a 3-year development cycle, the game was entrusted to Sledgehammer Games, a fresh developer studio, employing ex-creators of such game series as Dead Space or The Godfather. The game is set in the near future, where a private military corporation ATLAS tries to restore order in the world consumed by a global conflict.
